Item Description
Set of three 9.5" tall (up to 13-3/8" tall to tip of raised swords) displays, each complete assembled models w/professionally done paint jobs. All are built-up kits issued directly by Aurora to stores for promotional purposes. From Aurora "Famous Fighters" series. ©1958. First is kit No. K-8 "Athos," second is kit No. K-9 "Porthos" and last is kit No. K-9 "Aramis." Each has actual feather attached to hat and each is depicted w/metal rod sword raised, another metal rod at each's waist representing sword scabbard. Name of each Musketeer appears on placards on front of bases in raised lettering. Bases are curved and designed to be displayed against one another so models recreate the classic Musketeers salute. Scattered aging and some dust soiling, but VF overall. These store display models are rare.
