Item Description
1.5" in length. Nice quality enameled brass. Top disc w/scalloped rim has bar pin on reverse. At center of this is raised stadium aerial view. Attachments below this are crossed bats w/glove and a baseball. Great design. Home field for the National League's Cincinnati Reds from 1912 through June 24, 1970. The original Cincinnati Bengals of the early American Football League also played there from 1937-41. Crosley Field was located at the corners of Findlay St., Western Ave., Dalton Ave., York St. & McLean Ave. in the Queensgate section of Cincinnati. Best known for being the first Major League baseball stadium to feature lights for night games. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
