Item Description
Impressive 5" dia. Baseball design w/animal mascot head at center of each side surrounded by over 30 facsimile signatures per team. These include: Cubs- Phil Cavarretta, Stan Hack, Andy Pafko, Paul Derringer and Tigers - Rudy York, Hank Greenberg (HOF), Hal Newhouser (HOF), Dizzy Trout.
The Tigers won the Series four games to three, giving them their second championship and first since 1935. Scattered lt. surface wear on both sides. Cubs side has some staining. Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
