Item Description
2.25" tall. Brass shell eagle w/stickpin and loop suspending an ornate brass shell frame w/ribbon design across top reading "For President." Portraits have "Gen. U.S. Grant." and "Schuyler Colfax" above. Grant has flake of missing emulsion in field at right not affecting portrait, surface scratches and oxidation along top edge. Colfax has scattered dots of missing emulsion. Overall Fine. Among the most attractive designs from the 1868 campaign. Bob Westerman Collection.
