Item Description
1.23". No maker. Spring pin holding ribbon and full figure celluloid baseball player. The 1935 Detroit Tigers finished in first place in the American League with a record of 93-58 under National Baseball Hall of Fame player/manager Mickey Cochrane. Leading the attack were three future Hall of Fame members, Hank Greenberg (1B), Charlie Gehringer (2B) and Leon "Goose" Goslin (OF). Detroit would go on to win the 1935 World Series, defeating the Chicago Cubs in six games. Orange portion of the ribbon is frayed. Rest is Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
