Item Description
1.75". No maker. The 1941 New York Yankees won the American League pennant with a record of 101-53 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Joe McCarthy. The offense was led by a quartet of future HOF'ers: Joe DiMaggio, Bill Dickey, Joe Gordon and Phil Rizzuto. The mound corps was led by Lefty Gomez and Red Ruffing. The Yankees would go on to defeat the Brooklyn Dodgers, 4 games to 1, to win the 1941 World Series. Few scattered age dots but overall glossy and VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
