Item Description
1.25". No maker. Spring pin holding ribbon. The 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers won the National League pennant with a final record of 100-54 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher. The offense was led by a quartet of future HOF'ers: Joe Medwick, Paul Waner, Pee Wee Reese and Billy Herman. Brooklyn would go on to lose the 1941 World Series, 4 games to 1, to a powerful New York Yankees club. Noticeable staining but button still retains a glossy appearance. VG. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
