Item Description
Four 11.5x14.5" Millar Publishing artboards features pen and ink original art (w/screentone and blue pencil accents) for complete four-page story originally published in DRAG Cartoons #27 in May 1966 by Pete Millar (1929-2003), illustrator, cartoonist and drag racer known for his work w/CARtoons and DRAG Cartoons magazines. Art is for Batman spoof story Battman With Robbin The Wonder and features caricatures of Batman and Robin based on the 1966 Batman TV show, continuing story from previous issue (see previous item). Story shows them wrecking the Batmobile twice w/follow up on their investigation of Funny Car invasion, w/last panels showing them unmasking racers Art Malone and Chris Karamesines. Each artboard has inked page number at lower right and first two bear "DRAG Cartoons" title inkstamp at lower right while another has stamp on back. Art remains clean and Exc. overall.
