Item Description
Four 14.25x18.25" to 14.5x21-1/8" artboards features pen and ink original art (w/screentone and blue pencil accents) for complete four-page story originally published in DRAG Cartoons #2 in Dec. 1963 by Dennis Ellefson. Art is for story that sees traffic cop soup up his police motorcycle, replacing its engine w/that of a hotrod and giving it an immense boost of speed, which he uses to pull over car carrying the police chief. Last panel shows traffic cop demoted to a crossing guard. Artboards have a few paste-overs, including magazine cut-out and panel w/redrawn art on first artboard. Scattered aging, margin staining and handling wear. Staple holes at top left corner of each artboard. Art remains clean for the most part and is VF to Exc. overall.
