Item Description
Beautifully painted and glazed 5.75" tall ceramic w/mark on underside for this Italian company that signed a contract w/Disney in 1947 which lasted for about ten years. This particular piece is c. 1953 from the time of Disney's animated film "Peter Pan" feature film's original release. Underside also has "W.115" notation. Tiny scattered glaze bubbles on front of shirt and seat of pants as fired, but o/w Exc. Extremely rare and just the second character from the Zaccagnini Peter Pan series we've offered in our 54 years. See Indian Chief #1600 and Turk (one of Captain Hook's pirates) #1601. This series is among the best and rarest of all Zaccagnini series.
