Item Description
Multiple size/style Dwarf dolls were produced in 1938 by Ideal as well as Knickerbocker, Krueger and Chad Valley. (see previous lot). Ideal made this larger size doll set in two varieties, this set is variety w/molded oilcloth heads w/painted features and cloth/oilcloth hands/bodies (other version was done in composition). Dolls have plush beards, felt hats w/silk-screened names on fronts, felt jackets and corduroy pants (w/exception of Sleepy, who wears cotton pants). All but Dopey has original leather belts w/metal buckles. Scattered lt. wear to painted faces and beards exhibit some aging. Scattered aging/wear to outfits w/some fading to Happy's hat. Dopey has small dent to tip of nose. Dolls are Fine to VF overall.
