Item Description
7/8" enameled brass w/"W. S. Lewis Brimm" on reverse and hinged horizontal pin. Issued by the militant British group founded by Emmeline Pankhurst. The group is noted for their direct action campaign and prison hunger strikes. They had a critical influence on American members Alice Paul and Lucy Burns who applied their experiences in Britain to the American suffrage movement. Overall minor paint wear w/superb gloss. Exc.
