Item Description
7/8" w/Herrick Foote Co., New Haven Conn. back paper and tiny text on curl "Emblem Art Co. N.Y. 438." Light wear only in reflected light. Exc. Rare. Panken was the first Socialist elected to New York City's Municipal Court and conducted this campaign for NYC Mayor from that position. As an advocate for African American rights he sat on the National Association for the Promotion of Labor Unionism Among Negroes, a group formed by A. Phillip Randolph.
