The Democratic Sen. from Washington Scoop Jackson announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination but never gained enough momentum to capture the nomination. The hawkish Jackson shared Nixon's desire to win the war in Vietnam. This button was issued for those opposed to McGovern's leftist policies. Almost no wear even in reflected light. NM.
