Item Description
1.25" dia. Hard plastic w/flat back. Suspended at center in the highly domed hard plastic is a floating head portrait of JFK against a red bordered background. Tiny loss along edge at 9 o'clock otherwise only trivial surface and edge wear. Exc. According to legendary JFK collector Bonnie Gardner this badge was a sample intended to be used at the DNC for applying to pin backs, tie bars or even lighters. A truly unusual 1960 campaign item and the only example we've encountered in our 54 years.
