Item Description
Exceptional painted and glazed 7" tall seated Pluto ceramic figurine w/mark on underside for this Italian company as well as "W 47" designation and "Walt Disney" paper label. Zaccagnini signed a contract w/Disney in 1947 which lasted about ten years. This piece features Pluto in expressive seated pose, mouth open w/tongue dangling out. Tiny paint flake to Pluto's eyebrow which blends somewhat. Black of one eye has small touch-up to flake. Professional touch-up to a bit of paint roughness on Pluto's nose is not distracting. VF/Exc. Rare and the first we've offered in our 54 years.
