Item Description
2". Rim curl marked "Specialty Sales Inc. Atl. City, N.J. Paul Muchinsky notes in his "Boxing Pinbacks Book" that the Playboy Clubs were the site of boxing matches in the 1960s. Shown in this book are two other examples (different colors and serial numbers) but this button we are offering is unlisted. Black on green with serial number "331".
These buttons were all serially numbered and produced in very limited quantities, presumably for VIP's and other notables attending the event. All of these Playboy buttons are rare. Glossy Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
