Item Description
1.75". No maker but w/union back stamp. This same photo was used on several PM10 buttons, but this is rare variety with "Stan The Man" text appearing on top rim. Stan Musial began his MLB career w/the St. Louis Cardinals in 1941 and would remain there for his entire 22 year career, retiring in 1963. Musial had a career batting average of .331 w/475 home runs and 1,951 RBI's. Musial won three National League MVP awards as well as finishing second in the MVP voting on four other occasions along w/winning seven NL batting titles. Three-time World Series champion. Inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. Trace of age to metal back. 1" streak of pink discoloration on bottom rim curl, not seen from the front.
