Item Description
15" tall high quality doll w/stuffed cloth body, felt hands, molded and starched linen face w/painted features. Unmarked but made by Krueger, 1940. Doll has felt outfit including jacket w/tails and collar, vest w/metal button, short pants, shoes and socks and original formed felt hat. Starched linen ascot has some staining and shows wear. Faint spot of staining on Jiminy's nose and cheek, not overly distracting. Slight fade to green pants and hat shows some wear. Fine overall but still features a nice likeness. Very rare, as Krueger made many more Pinocchio dolls in various styles (see rare Pinocchio doll, #1588) compared to Jiminy Cricket dolls. First we've seen in our 54 years.
