Item Description
2.25". No maker. Spring pin holds 6" ribbons and string holds mini leather mitt w/stitching details. In our last last auction we offered this button w/a World Series bat attachment. Button features Mr. Redlegs mascot. The 1961 Cincinnati Reds won the National League pennant with a final record of 93-61 under manager Fred Hutchinson. The offense was led by future National Baseball Hall of Fame outfielder Frank Robinson. The Reds would go on to lose the 1961 World Series to the New York Yankees in five games. Few ribbon creases but all still NM. Neat design. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
