Item Description
First example Hake's has offered. 2.75" tall. No maker. Celluloid cover metal frame only, the glass mirror back is missing but has no impact to display from the front. Superb portrait photo w/ text above "Charles H. Ebbets, President/The Brooklyn Ball Club." Ebbets served as co-owner of the Brooklyn franchise from 1897 to 1902 before becoming majority owner of the team, doing so until his death in 1925. He also served as President from 1898 to 1925. Trace of surface wear w/some tiny scuffs along rim edge. Still glossy and w/sharp photo. Displays Fine as is. See following lot, Brooklyn co-owners mirror. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
