Item Description
5.5x14x3.75" deep box contains 14" tall marionette w/"Unitrol" one-piece controller by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. © Bob Smith. c. 1948-1950. Box is evenly aged and has been reinforced. Lid has 2.5" tear at front left of flap and lid flap top is glued down. VG overall, but remains Fine for display. Wood/fabric/composition marionette has movable jaw and is complete w/scarce, most often missing "Clarabell Horn Box" cardboard tag that was originally attached to chest, but this is loose. Composition head, hands and feet. Fabric has some lt. aging and composition has typical crazing, but marionette is o/w VF overall.
