Item Description
1.5" w/N.G. Slater on curl. 1969. Featuring graphics of a white & African American hand flanking central text each displaying the two finger peace symbol. Additional text "March On Washington Bring All The GIs Home Now." Even toning throughout. Otherwise only light wear in reflected light. VF. At the time of the event it was considered the largest demonstration in Washington DC history attracting over 500,000 demonstrators. In a corresponding San Francisco demonstration an additional 250,000 marched. Despite the massive turnout this is only the fifth we've encountered in our 54 years. See next lot for related ephemera.
