Item Description
2.5x3.5". The 1957-58 Topps basketball card series consists of a total of 80 cards and represents Topps' initial foray into the basketball trading card market. It would be another 12 seasons before Topps would issue its second nationally released basketball card set in 1969. Card backs provide statistical information for the 1956-57 NBA season. Boston Celtics. Russell was an 11-time World Champion, 5-time NBA MVP, 12-time All-Star and 4-time Rebounding Champ. Bill was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975. Very difficult to find well centered, the beauty presented here is an excellent mid-grade example of one of the key rookie cards in the hobby.
