Item Description
This is second version of previous lot. Originally Falomir made a direct Masters Of The Universe game in a similar style but received pushback from Mattel Spain as it was apparently unlicensed. Whereas on the lid of the initial version, He-Man riding Battle Cat into battle against Skeletor was clearly depicted, this version shows He-Man changed to look more like Conan the Barbarian, who rides a generic tiger while battling less armored, leopard print loincloth-wearing and hooded blue-skinned man. 18-1/8x26.75" thin cardboard gameboard also features updated images, w/Conan again substituted for He-Man, and other characters changed. Castle Grayskull becomes a horned skull and even The Word of Power (for which the game is partially named) at center of board has been altered. Gameboard is folded as issued and NM. Pair of plastic cups and small die held in center well of cardboard tray insert. Box has some corner tip/edge wear and tape staining on underside as once sealed but is o/w VF/Exc. Interesting foreign game (w/no American equivalent), clearly inspired by Masters Of The Universe. Only example we've ever offered.
