Item Description
The Gamesman was the 69th episode of Filmation's He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe (Season 2, Episode 4), originally broadcast Oct. 1, 1984. Offered here is lot consisting of 11.5x14-3/8" Filmation Associates folder that holds hand-painted animation cels and accompanying original art lead and/or red/blue pencil production drawings for scene where He-Man rescues Moak after the large burrowing creature was stopped by heavy gate He-Man threw in front of him, stretching his nose as He-Man frees him. Extensively annotated folder has large "MU-69 Sc. 114A" marker notation at bottom and various boxes have been filled out in pencil. Of note, penciled names of He-Man and Moak appear by Filmation logo. Pinch creases w/some tears along bottom. Folder is evenly aged and Fine overall. Lot includes seven 10.5x12.5" animation cels and 14 10.5x12.5" sheets of animation paper; all but one featuring lead/red/blue pencil original art (one has taped stat and another has cut-out original art that has been taped to sheet). Four cels feature He-Man, though his face is not clearly seen in any. Eight animation sheets feature He-Man, again w/o his face clearly seen. Each cel has "MU 69" notation at bottom and animation sheets have various notations. Cels are complete w/exception of small 1/8" flake to He-Man's hair on one. Exc. overall. One animation sheet has original art of gate on separate piece of paper that has been taped in places. Sheets show varying degrees of wear but remain clean and VF to Exc. overall.
