Item Description
13x20" screened on card stock. "March 22" 1974 event poster "A Benefit For Joann Little Defense Fund" that featured "Poetry Readings" and "Music By The Holy Seekers Gospel Singers And The Red Basement Singers." Single pin hole in each corner margin and moderate handling wear. VF. Little killed a prison guard in self defense during a sexual assault at the Beaufort County Prison in North Carolina. She was the first woman acquitted of a murder in self-defense of a sexual assault.
