Item Description
Complete 1967-1969 version kit w/8-3/8x10.5" mailing envelope, complete w/desirable mailing label featuring Thing portrait. Envelope has aging/handling wear. Fine. Printed welcome letter is version w/"Atlantic Bond" watermark. Folded as mailed. Some lt. handling wear, tiny chip out at top edge but VF/Exc. overall. Illustrated "Official Scribble Pad" has images of Marvel heroes/villains and is complete w/27 sheets, top sheets having small scattered indents and top two sheets have the hero heads hand colored. Fine. 3.5" long "Make Mine Marvel" pencil. NM. Single sheet of non-gummed stickers (comprising eight different stickers). Pink color variety. Some lt. aging to back but still displays VF. Some kits were issued w/5/8x7/8" miniature comic book w/48 pages; this example does not. Howard Rogofsky 4 page catalog. Lt. aging/wear. Minor stain marks. Fine. Membership card w/typed name matching that on envelope. Exc. "Scream Along With Marvel" Flexi-Disc record comes in original illustrated sleeve and is 33-1/3 rpm. Record Has a few tiny indents. VF. Envelope has some scattered aging and scattered stain lines on back. VF. 3-3/8" dia. "Make Mine Marvel" button featuring a variety of Marvel heroes including Captain America, Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Daredevil and others. Aging to white on front and aging/wear on reverse. Fine. Includes Marvel No-Prize in original envelope. Envelope has April 3, 1968 postmark and has some handling wear and age spotting along left. Fine. No-Prize itself has trace aging/wear only. Stan written in marker. Recipients name was Stan, so not Stan Lee signed. Exc. Very tough to find complete kit and unused.
