Item Description
Lot of three from the classic 1968 animated feature film. Pair (11.5x16" and 12.5x16") of sheets of animation paper both have lead pencil original art depicting Blue Meanies. Smaller sheet features 3.75x3-5/8" lead/red pencil original art depicting full body image of single Blue Meanie w/machine gun. Bottom margin has "SC3 - Boob's Rescue" and "MX-50" pencil notations. Tiny smudge on Meanie's chest, o/w Exc. Larger sheet features 2.75x14-3/8" lead pencil original art depicting row of Butterfly Stompers, each bearing individual number on their chest; 1 through 9. Sheet has some scattered handling wear and lt. scattered stains, but art area remains clean and Exc. 11.5x14.5" frame contains double-matted production drawing of Blue Meanie (three-quarter body) peering from behind bush. Image area measures 2.25x2.5" and is in lead/red pencil. Sheet measures approx. 12x16, but margins have been folded for framed display. Exc. as matted and framed.
