18.25x34" frame w/7x9.5" and 6.25x7" openings for pages. Dated "August 4, 1933" on White House stationery addressed to "Mr. Miguel A. Otero" referencing a telegram appointing him as part of an "Advisory Committee Of Three For Your State Under Public Works Organization." Second page notes "The Purpose Back Of The Public Works Act Is To Give Employment To Labor, And The Greater Number Of Public Works That Can Be Built Economically, The Farther The Money Will Go Toward The Employment Of Labor." Signed boldly at conclusion "Franklin D. Roosevelt" in black fountain pen ink. Staple holes in fields at top left and two horizontal mailing folds. Second page has moderate even age. Fine. Not examined out of frame. A superb display w/plaque and candid photo. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
