Item Description
1.25" with back paper by Baltimore Badge. Bright gold rim with text "South Carolina Inter-State And West Indian Exposition/Charleston, 1901-1902." Top edge has short, faint line as printed across the words "State And". Very minor defect. Beneath a palm tree are two smiling boys with their hands grasping a single giant watermelon slice captioned in tiny text below "Down In Dixie". A gorgeous and scarce multi-color button we've seen about seven times in our 54 years. Exc. Alan Weinberg Collection.
