Item Description
These three corn on the cob munching guys typically appear on a larger 1.75" button promoting the same Corn Carnival event in Peoria Oct. 3-13, 1900. The Peoria Corn Exposition or Corn Carnival ran from 1898-1902 and drew thousands from miles around. The sponsor of this button "Union Brewing" was located in Peoria from 1888-1920. This is only our second seen example using the same art on the 1.75" button on a 1.25" button and our first with intact W&H back paper. Faint trace of gray tone primarily lower right edge. High gloss. VF and rare. Alan Weinberg Collection.
