Item Description
Large 2.25" without back paper or maker. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 sent the Muskogee Tribe to Oklahoma where the town grew into a rail transportation hub. Button references "Compliments Of The 100,000 Club" and was likely issued by the town chamber of commerce. The Native American pictured was likely the tribe leader when this button was produced c. 1910. One seen. NM. Alan Weinberg Collection.
