Item Description
3.5" cello with 3" black wire handle. Silvering 97% intact. Tiny loss of black paint off collet which names Parisian, Chicago as maker. Cello is NM w/c. 1910 color photo of young girl astride large dog. Top gold text is "Chestnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia." Originally at 6th and Chestnut, this was the first theater in the USA built by entrepreneurs solely as a venue for paying audiences. Very limited issue. Rare. Alan Weinberg Collection.
