Item Description
Painted aluminum with tin litho wheels and natural aluminum accents, by Chad Valley and made in England as marked. Designed pre-war and made in late 1940s. Great design, 11.5" racer done in land speed style w/cut-out driver torso and rear fin, 8" is period racer style. Both have working wind -up motors, but an unusual feature is that they must be held upside down to wind properly. Includes one replacement key. Smaller racer has area on covered underside in front that appears to be missing a fold out tab, unsure of what use, but does not affect appearance or wind-up function. Lt. aging/wear, small nicks/scratches. Nice pair and Fine.
