Item Description
12.75" long heavy cast aluminum Indy 500 style racer w/polished finish, painted tin wheels and rubber tires; complete w/spare tire on back and painted steering wheel. Tires have raised toy maker's name, "The Cleveland Speedway Co." and Cleveland, OH mark. 1940s. Underside has raised "Cleveland Racer" name and "Pat Pend" notice. Free-wheeling type racer, w/o wind-up mechanism or gas engine as produced. Scattered lt. paint wear to tin wheels (more moderate to front left). Tires are a bit loose on wheels but remain pliable. Scattered aging to aluminum body, but still VF overall.
