Item Description
First in lot is “MAD” No. 10 published by E.C. Comics April, 1954. Issue has been signed on first page by E.C. artist Harvey Kurtzman “Hello Paul – H. Kurtz” along with double-headed stick figure in blue ink. Issue has some handling wear with pinch creases to spine and corner bumps as well as faint vertical crease running through center of front cover. Fine. “The House Of Secrets” No. 92 features the first appearance of The Swamp Thing with art by Bernie Wrightson. Wrightson has signed in black ink on inside front page. Light handling wear with pinch creases. Fine+. “Conan The Barbarian” No. 1 features art by Barry Windsor-Smith who has signed in black ink on bottom of first page. Pinch creases with light handling wear. VF. All were signed in person at comic conventions.
