2 5/8x5.5" lacquered case. "Death of Tecumseh Battle Of The Thames Oct. 18, 1813" scene depicts future Vice President Colonel Richard Johnson in violent battle scene on horseback. Detailed with uniforms, weapons, rearing horse, and lots of action. Johnson is the only Vice President appointed by the Senate. It is disputed as to his part in Tecumseh's death. Trivial sin touch up a long upper left margin. Trace of aging as it is expected on this type of item. Missing generic insert. VF.
