2.25". Curl reads "Mayor Thomas P. Costin Jr." This button was used at the 1956 Democratic Convention and includes JFK's book title "A Profile In Courage", winner of the Pulitzer Prize the following year. Almost no surface wear even in reflected light. NM. As nice as they come.
