5.5x8.5". Glazed cotton parade flag in 10.5x13.75" frame. Unlisted in Threads Of History. The 31 stars in the canton are arranged in a circular pattern w/a star at each corner and a larger star at center. Text reads "For President, Stephen A. Douglas. For Vice President, Herschel V. Johnson." Scattered aging noticeable in white areas. VF. Color remains bold. Campaign flags are among the most sought after artifacts by collectors of political Americana and those from 1860 carry an added significance.
