7/8" with c. 1897 Whitehead & Hoag back paper also reading "We Are Going To Tashmoo Park 9 A.M." This famous amusement park near Detroit and Port Huron was accessed by steamship and opened in 1897 located on Harsen's Island in St. Clair Flats, the largest freshwater river delta in the world at the north end of Lake St. Clair. Beautiful sky and green trees plus large pavilion with American flag on rooftop. Foreground rear view of three girls with skirts pulled up and three boys with rolled pants legs, all wading in wavy shallow delta water of this famous geographical landmark. Tiny oxidation on collet and one tiny faint dot on top at 12. VF.  Fourth seen in our 54 years. Rare.
