Item Description
14x22.5" large artboard has pencil and ink original art by Tony D'Adamo. Published by Fiction House August 1952. Art is for Jumbo Comics #162, page 24 from the four page story "Space Scouts". Six panel page features young dabblers in super-sonics, Mark Leonard and Bill Brown flying in a spaceship searching for an alien transmitter and then being attacked by another ship in last panel. Artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins, lt. soiling/handling wear. Writing on top and bottom margins. Missing eight text paste-ups that have left tan spots where glued but vintage Golden Age art itself remains clean and Fine overall.
