Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Almendares B.B.C. Baró-Outfielder". Baro played in the Cuban and Negro Leagues between 1913 and 1930 including for the Cuban Stars East and West and the Kansas City Monarchs. He ranks fifth all-time in Cuban League career batting average with an average of .311. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1945.
