Item Description
Ornate, multi-level 24.75x29.75" painted wood frame contains approx. 14.5x19.5" artboard w/mixed media original art by noted pin-up artist Olivia de Berardinis. Entitled Erika, art shows Olivia model Erika "Diamond" Andersch wearing gloves, thigh high stockings, top hat w/decorative veil and nothing else. Model is posed w/her exposed backside facing viewer, looking over her shoulder w/side of one bare breast seen. Olivia has elaborately signed and added "1994" date at lower left. Regarding art, Olivia has said "This Is My Favorite Painting Of Erika. You May Know Her From The Television Show American Gladiators, Where She Appears As 'Diamond.' She has Great Strength, Her Limbs Float Effortlessly In The Air. This Never Happens To Me. She Is Living Sculpture. I Love The Feminine Power, Her Buff Butt, And Yet, A Dietrich Peek Through The Veil." Art was published on page 7 of the Second Slice: The Art Of Olivia art book.
