Item Description
3x5.25x8.25" box contains band wagon tin flat bed truck with drumming elephant w/tin jointed ears. C. 1950s. George G. Wagner distributor mark on box lid. Box has moderate wear. Top has name in pen, lt. creases, staining, pen writing and two punctures on bottom of box. Good. Friction powered truck animates elephant to bob head and arms beat drum. Bright litho elephant features stars and stripes on body. Box illustrates a circus theme however, we are also offering a donkey version which does appear politics might be the idea instead. Functions well, lt. aging on plated parts and litho shows trace aging/wear, faint scratches/nicks. Displays Exc. Unique art featuring toy and circus characters. Deak Stagemyer Collection.
