Item Description
3x5.25x8.25" box contains band wagon tin flat bed truck with drumming donkey w/rubber ears. C. 1950s. George G. Wagner distributor mark on box lid. Box has moderate wear. Top has a corner split, four pieces of aged tape on underside, lt. creases, denting on bottom of box. Good. Friction powered truck animates donkey to bob head and arms beat drum. Bright litho donkey features stars and stripes on body. Box illustrates a circus theme however, we are also offering an elephant version which does appear politics might be the idea instead. Functions well, lt. aging on plated parts and litho shows trace aging/wear, faint scratches/nicks. Displays Exc. Unique art featuring toy and circus characters. Deak Stagemyer Collection.
