Item Description
2.5x4.5x1" nicely illustrated cardboard box w/hinged lid (now separated) contains wrist watch w/1.25" dia. chromed metal case. This example has vintage, but not original leather bands (watch was also issued w/five metal link band w/clasp). Dial features image of Big Bad Wolf and Three Little Pigs. Ingersoll, 1934. Box features same illustration on lid/inside lid of Practical Pig building brick house w/inset image of Big Bad Wolf. Rest features brick design. This same box was used for the Three Little Pigs pocket watch w/"$2.95 Wrist" designation on lid. Box is missing insert. Aside from mentioned lid hinge split, box shows some lt. aging and scattered corner tip/edge wear. VG but still a nice example for display. Watch case and winding knob show scattered wear, w/small streaks of brass visible on bezel. Tiny indent on back of case. Dial retains deep, rich color and exhibits none of the typical fading seen w/these watches. Watch is tightly wound and ticks a bit, a simple cleaning should restore function. Fine overall. Among the rarest and most sought after Disney timepieces, very rare as boxed, this just one of a few we've offered as such in our 54 years.
