Item Description
These pocket watches were issued w/braided cord and leather fob (hence insert design) while others were issued w/enameled metal disc fob like that offered here (some were issued w/figural gun fob). 3.5x3.75x.75" deep box w/"Lone Ranger With Fob & Gun" factory pasted label on lid edge as issued. New Haven, ©1940 The Lone Ranger Inc. Box is complete w/die-cut insert, guarantee folder (w/1942 inkstamp) and inspection slip. Lid label has moderate fade and three corner splits. Insert shows wear w/tears/creases at die-cut slots. Box is Fine. 2" dia. pentagonal watch w/"The Lone Ranger" on Silver decal on reverse. Two different decals were used, (other version has decal image that matches lid image). Decal is complete and Exc. Tiny flake flake to left of decal. Front of case shows scattered wear. Generic dial w/small "New Haven" name remains bright and clean though crystal shows some surface wear. Running and Fine overall.
