Item Description
1.75". No maker. Shown in Brooklyn Dodgers cap, he played for the franchise 1954-59 (he signed with them as an amateur free agent in 1949). His involvement with professional baseball spanned eight decades. He was a player, manager and coach for a plethora of teams. A two-time All-Star and six-time World Series champ. Slightly bumpy surface to the touch. Rim curl has cello separation from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock but this occurred in manufacturing. Crazing of the paper under the cello but only seen in reflected light or under magnification. Not detected when viewed under normal circumstances and button is still glossy. All mentioned for complete accuracy but appearance for display remains very nice and image has great contrast and clarity. Fine. A rare PM10. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
