Item Description
1.75". No maker. Shown in St. Louis Cardinals uniform. He played his short MLB career with just the Cards, 1954-57 and was the team's first black player. Trace of oxidation on the metal collet and some staining on rim curl. Front of button shows scattered trace of aging to white bkg. around rim. Moderate surface wear in reflected light. Button remains glossy and image is sharp. Fine. A historic button for Cardinals collectors and a rare PM10 in general. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
